Groups & Studies
Life isn’t meant to be done alone.
The Bible teaches us that life to the fullest happens in the context of authentic relationships. The true heart of Christ Fellowship is best expressed in small groups that meet throughout the week in homes, on campus, and in public spaces across Collin county. This is where you can be known and loved – where you’ll build lasting friendships and experience true community.
Life groups are where you’ll find long-lasting friendships and community. They share meals together, pray for and encourage each other, and go deeper into a certain aspect of the Bible.

LAUNCHES FEBRUARY 4
TUESDAYS | 6:30-8:30 PM | IN THE TREEHOUSE | MCKINNEY CAMPUS
Re:Generation is a year-round weekly discipleship ministry built upon a Biblical 12-step recovery model. Re:Generation is offered every Tuesday evening at 6:30pm, beginning Feb 4, 2020 at Christ Fellowship in our Treehouse Room 200, upstairs in children’s area.
Re:Generation is about learning what it means to be a new creation in Christ Jesus; learning to live in the Spirit’s power and the freedom that faith in Christ brings; learning how to crucify and to put to death the deeds of the flesh.
We all deal with stuff daily, we all have struggles, and often the healthiest Christians are the ones who are real, open and vulnerable with God, themselves & others about their struggles; people who’ve learned to live authentically and who avoid putting on a mask of spirituality. That’s why Re:Generation is for everyone. It is learning to be a disciple of Christ.
The Re:Generation night begins with worship to connect us to God, followed by live (sometimes recorded) testimonies or a teaching on a core issue. Finally, you’ll experience small group sharing. There are three types of groups: First-timers; Open Groups; Closed Groups.

BEGINNING FEBRUARY 4
Life doesn’t always go the way we’d like. Crises like the loss of a loved one, divorce, and addiction often throw us off our balance. But God is often doing things in our lives that we can’t fully understand during these seasons. Care groups provide support for those walking through seasons of crisis, offering encouragement, accountability, and perspective.
Most care groups meet weekly in 13-week stretches. In each meeting, you’ll watch a video related to the course and discuss the principles you’ve discovered with a small group of others in similar situations. New Care Groups launch every semester.

SPRING STUDY BEGINS FEBRUARY 12-13
WEDNESDAYS: 9:30-11:30 AM | THURSDAYS: 6:30-8:30 PM
Joy is the constant companion of the woman who trusts in the Lord. And while you can find it in friends, family, and circumstances, unfailing, persistent joy will only ever overflow from your relationship with Jesus. Just ask Job, the man from Uz who clung to God’s goodness while all his worldly joys were stripped away. But how is it possible to hold onto such joy in times of sorrow?
In this 7-session study by Lisa Harper, discover the redemptive side to Job’s story of suffering. Learn to use pain to strengthen your faith, point others to the gospel, and remember God’s providence will never take you to a place where His grace will not sustain you.
Motherhood is a balancing act, and a tough one at that! It's even harder if you're doing it in isolation. Moms Connection is an opportunity for moms of all stages to enjoy authentic community, learn from others, and benefit from those who have been through it before!
We meet twice a month, from September to May, and enjoy a hot breakfast, learn from engaging speakers, and connect with other moms in discussion. Each table has a mentor mom who can offer her experience and support.
For more information, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Men's studies meet throughout the week on campus and in the community. These are great opportunities to meet other men, dig deeper into the Bible, and grow closer to Jesus with others.
