Kick-Off the New Year with Prayer and Fasting

As we approach a new year, looking towards resolutions and life changes and self-improvements, let’s start by looking to our Heavenly Father — our Creator, our Protector.

Join us beginning January 5th for 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting, and let’s keep the enemy trembling in 2025. Let’s invite God to move in our hearts and through our lives.

21 Days is a time to connect with Jesus more deeply, through worship, prayer, and Bible study. This year, we’ll be praying through the book of Ephesians, as we focus on our community, our next generation, and the Church overall.

the 21 Days together with two special Nights of Worship.

Pray Together

JANUARY 19 | 6 PM – JANUARY 22 | 8 PM
From January 19 – January 22, we’ll have a self-guided prayer experience available for you to come and go as you can. The Worship Center will be set up with interactive prayer stations with unique prayer prompts and meaningful sensory experiences to help you engage deeply with God. Come by yourself, with your family, or prayer partner. Guides will be available in both English and Spanish.

Pray where you live, work, and play

Prayer doesn’t have to be done alone. In fact, some of the most meaningful times with God come from praying with and for others. Here are a few ideas to get you started:

  • Find a prayer partner to help encourage and keep each other accountable throughout the 21 Days.
  • Gather in your home for prayer times throughout the 21 Days — daily, weekly, whatever works with your family’s schedule.
  • Gather with other believers at work or school to pray during your lunch break — for your community, your organization, and/or each other.
  • Plan a prayer walk with your neighbors, life group, coworkers, or friends. Pray for your neighborhood, schools, and community as you walk through them.

How to Participate

1. Commit to Fast

It doesn’t have to be food. There are many things you can choose to remove from your life for a season, such as: social media, a game on your phone, a particular media type or outlet, etc. Use the time you would have spent engaging in that activity focusing on the Lord instead.

2. Set a Daily Time to Pray

Set aside time to engage God on your own each day, and make it a habit. Our Engage God Daily is a great tool to guide and encourage your time with God.

3. WORSHIP & PRAY AS A GROUP

Don’t do it alone. Gather with your spouse, your family, your roommates, life group or friends, to worship, pray, and discuss regularly. Download our 21-Days Guide to follow along with our prompts each day in your home.

4. Join us for NightS OF WORSHIP and prayer gatherings

Join us on Sunday mornings and for our kickoff and closeout gatherings on January 5th and 26th at 6:00 PM to invite the Holy Spirit to move amongst us and then celebrate how God has grown our relationships with Him through these 21 Days. And don’t forget to check out this year’s new Prayer Experience from January 19 – 22!
